First of all, I think it's pretty interesting how you've turned around and began a much softer, rounded stylization. Not a good thing or a bad thing, but it's interesting.
Second, the face. Originally, I wasn't quite sure what you meant when you said you were having trouble, but now I feel I've got a good handle on it. Please keep in mind that this is a critique, and is intended to help you, not insult you. Now, to begin, the head is a bit large. Not a problem, really, but you seem to be trying to compensate with the other features to fix it visually, such as with the neck. Unfortunately, this ends up making the neck look rather broad as well as dwarfing the size of the shoulders. Women do have more slender shoulders than men, but that's a bit too narrow. I suggest looking back at the size of the head (how old is this character supposed to be, anyhow?).
Also, as I suspected, you are taking the rounding of the features a bit too far. Experiment with a sharp nose, strong jaw, or sunken cheeks. These kinds of features are more fitting for a hardedged character, anyhow. Also, your noses are a bit too rounded. Regardless of stylization, remember that people have nostrils! Oh, and watch out for that eyeline. THe higher you place it, the flatter the top of the head appears, which can hurt your character's appearance. Oh, and don't neglect the back of the head. If anything it raises from the forehead and back around to meet the neck (check some pictures of a person in profile).
Overall, I'm very pleased with how your drawings have been coming along. Fact is, I'm liking these more than I'm liking my own drawings right now. Well constructed, well organized. Generally going in the right direction, my friend.
