These two characters are Amani (right) and Akuma (left). They are agents of the Fellowship, a secret organization dedicated to fighting monsters. The pair could be defined as atypical agents, as they made their presence known to people outside the organization.
Amani fights with a two-bladed sword and is fairly proficient in two-weapon combat. She keeps a stock of throwing knives in that adorable pink windbreaker of hers in case the enemy decides to flee out of sword's range.
Akuma wields Juuchi Fuyu, the legendary blade of Japanese swordsmith Sengo Muramasa which is said to have an insatiable thirst for blood. Akuma is one of the Fellowship's most powerful agents and a peerless warrior. He has been known to single-handedly defeat creatures from the Shadow that would frighten even veteran Fellowship operatives.
